  Description

Please make sure to watch the video of this plane. Complete details of this Cardinal and the most detailed review video of Cessna 177B model. Low cost delivery to your airport after purchase & fully sanitized for our customers' safety and convenience. I think this is a rare opportunity if you’d like to own a very special 1975 Cessna 177B Cardinal. Low airframe and engine hours, over 32 upgrades & improvements. These make it one of the best 177B at the best value. The upgrades & improvements alone would cost over $80,000 and months of time. (standard 177B with low hours sell around $75-$80,000. Add the cost of upgrades; you're looking at $150-$160,000. Our asking price of $108,000 is a great value.) Cessna Cardinal fixed gear planes are hard to find, owners love them & rarely sell them. Cardinal was my first plane. We’ve had many planes since, but the Cardinal? Wow, what a great airplane to own and fly. Space, ease of flying, reliability, unbelievable open views, useful load, range, short takeoff and landing... no other plane has all that together. Low fuel cost and low insurance. Good speed for a fixed gear 180HP airplane. Exterior is in great condition. You can be proud to take friends and family in this plane. No hail or corrosion, beautiful 2 tone paint. A few sections have minor chips but overall great condition. Avionics panel is a pilot's dream for a plane like this. Entire panel has been updated. Glass panel with Aspen 1000 Pro PFD. So many details, even winds aloft. Connected to Garmin 530 WAAS. Top of the line Garmin GTX 345 transponder (over $7000 to install). ADS-B in and out. Bluetooth - get free traffic and weather to Foreflight or other app. 4 place audio Garmin 347 - private phone calls, music input and automatic ATC record and playback, really useful features. I like they kept the round gauges. Some are updated like attitude indicator & CDI. Great IFR platform, great instrument trainer & transition to glass panel. You have a complete backup system. EDM 830 advanced engine monitor gives peace of mind flying. Manage the engine & save thousands of $ fuel. A ton of info, all 4 CHT and EGT, fuel flow, horsepower, MAP, RPM, and so much more. Low hour engine and propeller; 660 hours since overhaul with great compression, 79,76,76,76 (even though TBO 2000 hours, these motors can usually go 3000 or more) Notable increase in performance with the Powerflow exhaust: flies faster, climbs better, higher ceilings. Engine heater in the plane helps to avoid cold starts. All logs since new, hangared in the Midwest. I’d have to write a chapter to explain all the features, so I'm going to stop, but watch the video, it has everything. Damage reported 18 years ago. All work done in detail and properly logged. It was a long time ago with no signs still showing. Looks gorgeous, clean engine, starts right up, flies great. I flew 3 hours just last week and landed in 37 knots gusting winds on a short runway. Any other plane I'd be worried; if you fly a 177B Cardinal it's relaxing & will take care of you. With the great upgrades in this plane, it's like flying a modern airplane for half of the cost. 6 things we can do for you... 1. Transport anywhere in USA for low cost 2. Arrange prebuy with local mechanic or bring yours here 3. Arrange to look at it on weekends also - if you schedule ahead 4. Give free 5 hour type training with CFI if you need 5. Help you to find financing & insurance 6. Clean and sanitize before delivery

Aerolife Aviation was great to deal with. Megan handled the buying process well from providing the paperwork, to getting the plane delivered to a mechanic for inspection, and arranging the plane to be delivered to Alabama. I think the plane looks great and I am very happy with the purchase.

- Randy S.

As first-time aircraft buyers, we felt in excellent hands with Megan at Aerolife. From the first moment of contact with her to the time we picked up our 1973 Cessna 177 Cardinal in Minnesota, Megan made the experience smooth, straight-forward and transparent. Megan went out of her way to explain specific technical questions we had, helped with recommendations on inspection items, arranged CFIs to get checked out and was available throughout the process to reassure and guide us through the logistics of the purchase process. We would definitely purchase from Aerolife Aviation in the future and wholeheartedly recommend the company, and especially Megan as an honest, fair and trustworthy airplane broker with top-notch customer service.

- Birgit, Henry and Kurt

Megan was very thorough and professional. We thought the process went very smooth. Enjoyed working through the process. Many Thanks

- Bob & John

Aerolife Aviation made the purchase of our 182 P an easy and stress free transaction. Megan was extremely helpful in answering all of the MANY questions we had before, during and after the purchase process. Aerolife was very professional and honest regarding the aircraft. Megan was easy to work with. She handled all the purchase details and even arranged delivery of our airplane. We highly recommend Aerolife.

- Lynn and Glen

Aerolife is a great company to work with. They are very accommodating and provide great service that makes the buying experience both smooth and pleasurable.

I will never be able to express my total gratitude and appreciation to Megan for her extremely professional, capable, friendly, honest, cleaver, resourceful, and experienced expertise! She not only helped me navigate the risky and sometimes stressful path to aircraft ownership, but spent numerous hours educating and helping me make the right decision in upgrades and other significant factors in the aircraft purchase. I am very impressed and totally trust Megan and Aerolife Aviation to satisfy all my future trade in and aircraft purchases. In fact, I will only deal with Aerolife Aviation and Megan from now on! A thousand thank you’s Megan! You made this happen!

- Patrick S.

This is the third aircraft I have purchased in my lifetime so I can say from experience this was my best buying experience by far. I have complete confidence in Aerolifes business model of how Aerolife will acquire an aircraft then thoroughly and professionally inspect the airplane then fix or replace what ever needs done if any to prepare that aircraft to sell. No smoke and mirrors, they are very upfront and forward in regards to any imperfections with your new plane. I recently purchased a beautiful Cessna 182Q and couldn’t be happier with my plane and how Megan and her team helped guide me though the transfer of my last plane and purchase of my new 182Q. I really enjoyed getting to meet Megan and all the super friendly folks up in Fergus Falls MN when I went up to fly my new plane for the first time. Overall excellent experience.

- Ray P.

I really enjoyed dealing with Megan @ AeroLife Aviation during the purchase of this Cessna 182P. They delivered a plane that met every expectation as advertised. They held nothing back by providing all log's, AD's, & 337's for our review. Then upon inspection absolutely nothing was found not previously disclosed. I have purchased a really nice airplane thanks to Megan and her team.

- Tom A.

Very easy to work with Aerolife and very accommodating, and knowledgeable. In a fast pace aggressive market for these planes they simplify buying process using DocuSign and knowing plenty of folks in industry to assist in the process if required.
