  Description

An opportunity to own the best upgraded Cardinal RG in the US. Fully upgraded to look, feel and fly like a modern plane. This plane has better avionics than 2007 Cirrus SR22. Please watch the full review video. All details of the plane and a 1000 mile cross-country flight to see the performance. It’s the most detailed 177RG video available. The plane has a fully upgraded avionics and glass panel. Garmin and Sarasota did the upgrade together to the highest quality as a display plane. Garmin G500 flight display. Synthetic vision is very useful for Night or IFR flights. Real-time wind direction and speed help choose the best altitude to fly faster and save fuel. G500 Multi-function display has the moving map, terrain, weather, and traffic to fly safer in any weather condition. Garmin GTN650 touchscreen GPS Nav/Comm is easy to use and greatly reduces pilot workload. Garmin audio panel with Bluetooth, playback ATC audio, and even make phone calls. Garmin 345 transponder is the best available today. ADS-B in and out so you can fly into any airspace or airport. Connect to a tablet or phone for free ADS-B weather and traffic. Panel mounted iPad Pro has all info including synthetic vision to fly from the right seat. JPI 930 primary digital engine monitor replaces all factory gauges and provides a lot of additional information. Individual cylinder and exhaust temperatures, oil pressure, oil temp, RPM and Manifold Pressure. Even displays percentage horsepower. Fuel information was very useful for me to save fuel and fly very long trips safely. It shows fuel levels, fuel flow, even time to empty. Digital engine monitors help run and monitor the engine precisely and increase the life of the engine while saving fuel and giving you peace of mind. S-Tec 50 autopilot with GPSS roll steering flies precisely with altitude hold and GPS track or nav modes. It can also fly approaches. Useful to have for flying night, IMC conditions or long trips. This avionics package is better than the 2007 Cirrus SR22. Avionics upgrades are very expensive. I don't know the upgrade cost for this plane but a somewhat similar upgrade on our twin Cessna cost $141,000. Beautiful recent high-quality paint. Fully stripped and painted. Looks almost new. I got many compliments. Fully upgraded interior. Very comfortable leather seats, new carpet, leather glare shield, and all side panels. Everything’s been upgraded. We bought this plane with almost 2300 hours on the engine. It was well maintained, the engine ran great and we reviewed the engine analyzer data. I flew over 200 hours in the plane; day and night over the last 18 months. It always ran very well. These engines can run over 3500 hours if maintained. The previous owner told me his company has a number of planes and used to overhaul them when an engine reached TBO. The engine shop asked him why he was overhauling these perfectly fine engines. So he stopped doing that and was able to fly much longer; saving time and money. The FAA is strict about safety. FAA says your airplane can't fly if even one AD is not complied with. But the FAA doesn't require you to overhaul your engine at TBO. Insurance companies don't ask for engine hours. Why? Because it is not a safety concern. Oil filter inspection, oil analysis, compressions and oil pressure will give an indication if the engine needs any attention. We did consecutive oil analysis that shows no indications of wear. Good oil pressure and good compressions. No metal in the filter. Even though our service center installs zero-time gold seal Cardinal engines for $27K, it makes no sense for me to overhaul any good running engine in any plane. Wing spar eddy current inspection was done on the plane with a clean report. Cessna Cardinal is a gentle airplane. Light controls and very easy to fly. No other GA plane has such easy entry. Best views of any GA airplane so you can truly enjoy the flight. Very economical, fly over 1000 miles non-stop with 61 gallons of fuel in economy settings. Low maintenance cost. Fuel savings alone in the Cardinal can save tens of thousands. These later models have done design improvements. This Cardinal RG is like a modern plane for a fraction of the price. Getting the features and avionics in this plane in a modern used plane would cost around $400,000. With this plane, you can have similar features for only $189,000 and own the best upgraded Cardinal RG in the country. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions. 5 things we do: 1. Aerolife is a great company to work with. They are very accommodating and provide great service that makes the buying experience both smooth and pleasurable.

I have been watching Megan do YouTube videos on aircraft for sale. She does such thorough reviews on the planes the previous owner could usually learn something about their old plane. You can imagine my pleasure when I saw a video about a 182 that I was actively interested in buying. When I got to see the plane in person it was exactly as described. Then AeroLife Aviation helped me with the training I needed and arranged for some routine maintenance I requested. Everything was above and beyond my high expectations. Thank you Megan and AeroLife Aviation

- Raymond B.

AeroLife Aviation were very forthright and most accommodating to me in the purchase process. The entire process was smooth and efficient.

I really enjoyed dealing with Megan @ AeroLife Aviation during the purchase of this Cessna 182P. They delivered a plane that met every expectation as advertised. They held nothing back by providing all log's, AD's, & 337's for our review. Then upon inspection absolutely nothing was found not previously disclosed. I have purchased a really nice airplane thanks to Megan and her team.

- Tom A.

Megan was very thorough and professional. We thought the process went very smooth. Enjoyed working through the process. Many Thanks

- Bob & John

Very easy to work with Aerolife and very accommodating, and knowledgeable. In a fast pace aggressive market for these planes they simplify buying process using DocuSign and knowing plenty of folks in industry to assist in the process if required.

- Travis Wisniewski

I highly recommend Aerolife Aviation. They are easy to work with, honest, and very knowledgeable in planes and aviation. We love our Cirrus! Thanks

- Evan & Jessica

Great buying experience with Megan. Plane was exactly as described and we could not be more pleased with our purchase.

- Brad Rentz

Aerolife Aviation was great to deal with. Megan handled the buying process well from providing the paperwork, to getting the plane delivered to a mechanic for inspection, and arranging the plane to be delivered to Alabama. I think the plane looks great and I am very happy with the purchase.
