(Please watch the complete video of this RV12 for all the details and to see how it flies. The video is also a complete review of RV12 so you’ll know all about the RV12 in great detail by watching it.) This is a low hour RV-12. The plane and engine have only 240 hours on them. Well maintained with all the maintenance records. No damage history. Hangared in the Midwest. Very nice flying aircraft. This RV-12 is also equipped with a glass panel primary display with a digital engine monitor. Autopilot. This plane has beautiful tri-tone paint that catches the eye of everyone. It also has a number of very useful upgrades which you will see in the video. I fly so many different airplanes but this plane has the most visibility of any plane I’ve flown. With its bubble canopy you will get an amazing view all around you. Also, you don’t get that claustrophobic feeling some people get in a small plane. It’s really good for scenic flights. RV-12 is a very good training airplane as well. It’s easier to learn and fly than most other airplanes. If you’ve never flown a stick control before it is fairly simple and easy to adapt from a standard yoke. This RV-12 has a Rotax ULS 912 engine with 100HP. Engine has only 240 hours since new. It has a 2000 hour TBO so you probably never need to overhaul the engine. 912 is a market dominating engine. It’s reliable and has a low cost to maintain and operate. The plane will come with a current annual inspection. The plane can travel around 110 knots. High ceiling of 13,800ft. You can average around 500 miles on a tank of fuel. It can carry two people plus baggage. In the video we have a comparison with two very popular certified airplanes and the RV-12 came out ahead in most areas. Even though most people don't consider it, over time the fuel cost of operating a plane is the most expensive plane part of owning one. You easily pay a few times more for fuel than the price of the plane. But this plane is very fuel efficient. It only uses 3-5 gallons per hour. You can even use automotive gas. This can save a significant amount just in fuel savings alone. I had a few flights in the plane. It handled well even on a gusty, windy day. Unlike most small planes this can carry 2 adults with full fuel. It is roomier for even tall people. ADS-B In and Out so you can fly in any air space within the USA. You can get free weather and traffic to your portable devices. This plane is night legal and has upgraded LED lights. On this RV-12 you can actually remove the wings in like 10 minutes and then take the plane home on a trailer. It has large wings and a large rudder for great slow flight characteristics and lower stall speeds. This makes it safer to fly. Van’s Aircraft dominates the experimental aircraft category because they make great airplanes. The RV-12 is a very nicely designed, economical airplane. Please make sure to watch the video for all the details and to see how it flies. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions. The plane is located at our branch in Knox Indiana (KOXI). 6 things we do: 1. Transport anywhere in USA for low cost 2. Arrange prebuy with local mechanic or accommodate yours 3.
