  Description

(Please watch the full video of the plane. It has all details including a flight so you can see how everything works.) It’s becoming increasingly difficult to find a good Cessna 182. Especially a low hour airplane like this with only 159 engine hours since overhaul. Only 3060 hours airframe. Midwest airplane. No corrosion. Hangered. Well maintained. All logs since new. No damage history. We flew a 700 mile cross country and it flies very well. Current annual and IFR certification. Plane is in original condition with important upgrades. Original paint is decent. A few chips as you can expect with the age. Original interior. Very clean. No damages. Clean, newer carpet. If you like we can ship a complete seat upholstery kit of leather or fabric, your color choice for about $1500. Glasses are overall in good condition. Cessna 182 is a great, versatile plane. Great climb performance. In the video, our initial climb was around 1500 ft per minute. Even at gross weight it can climb close to 1000 ft/mn. Climb rate is important to operate from short fields, climb above terrain and especially climb over adverse weather systems. This 182 model has one of the highest service ceilings of 18,900ft. So you can fly over any mountain in the USA even on a hot summer day. This 182 can cruise about 140 knots. That’s very good speed for a fixed gear with its payload. 84 gallon long range tanks with a range of over 1200 miles. Cessna 182 has very short takeoff and landing distances. Takeoff is only 625ft & landing is only 590ft. Operate on any runway or grass strip. Great backcountry plane. Higher useful load of 1075lbs, easily carry 4 adults. I can't think of any other plane that can do all of these very well. Continental O-470 carbureted 6 cylinder 230HP. Only 159 hours SMOH. Engine overhaul was a number of years ago so we did a borescope. All cylinders, walls, valves and pistons are in very good condition. Didn't find any corrosion. Very good compressions 72 72 73 72 70 76. Tanis engine heater to avoid damaging cold starts. Digital engine monitor is one of the most important things you can have in any plane and this has an advanced JPI to monitor all 6 cylinders unlike the single probe factory gauge. Easy to troubleshoot anomalies. Save a lot of fuel. New Sky-Tec starter. Starts right up. Flies great. (Please watch the video to see.) Garmin 660 touch screen. All the info you need. (We use portable ADS-B in. You can buy one from $250 up and have everything. GPS, live traffic, weather.) Built in battery - Garmin 3D Vision is a great backup for any instrument, vacuum or electrical issues. Digital radios, dual VOR. One glide slope. Marker beacon indicators. Cessna 182 is one of the best, most versatile planes you can own. Very stable, nice flying. Trim and fly hands free. I’ve landed 182s in 42 knot gusting winds no problem. It can do so many things very well that others can't. That's the reason Cessna 182 has so much demand. It’s hard to find a clean, low hour one with all records and clean history. Feel free to contact us with any questions. (Please make sure to watch the video. It has very good general info on Cessna 182.) 6 things we do: 1. Transport anywhere in USA for low cost 2. Arrange prebuy with local mechanic or accommodate yours 3. Arrange to look at it on weekends also - if you schedule ahead 4. Give free 5 hour type training with CFI if you need 5. Help you to find financing & insurance 6. Clean and sanitize before delivery

The video play icon   I want to trade my aircraft with this 1969 CESSNA 182M

As first-time aircraft buyers, we felt in excellent hands with Megan at Aerolife. From the first moment of contact with her to the time we picked up our 1973 Cessna 177 Cardinal in Minnesota, Megan made the experience smooth, straight-forward and transparent. Megan went out of her way to explain specific technical questions we had, helped with recommendations on inspection items, arranged CFIs to get checked out and was available throughout the process to reassure and guide us through the logistics of the purchase process. We would definitely purchase from Aerolife Aviation in the future and wholeheartedly recommend the company, and especially Megan as an honest, fair and trustworthy airplane broker with top-notch customer service.

- Birgit, Henry and Kurt

I have been watching Megan do YouTube videos on aircraft for sale. She does such thorough reviews on the planes the previous owner could usually learn something about their old plane. You can imagine my pleasure when I saw a video about a 182 that I was actively interested in buying. When I got to see the plane in person it was exactly as described. Then AeroLife Aviation helped me with the training I needed and arranged for some routine maintenance I requested. Everything was above and beyond my high expectations. Thank you Megan and AeroLife Aviation

- Raymond B.

Megan was very thorough and professional. We thought the process went very smooth. Enjoyed working through the process. Many Thanks

- Bob & John

Aerolife Aviation made the purchase of our 182 P an easy and stress free transaction. Megan was extremely helpful in answering all of the MANY questions we had before, during and after the purchase process. Aerolife was very professional and honest regarding the aircraft. Megan was easy to work with. She handled all the purchase details and even arranged delivery of our airplane. We highly recommend Aerolife.

- Lynn and Glen

Aerolife Aviation was great to deal with. Megan handled the buying process well from providing the paperwork, to getting the plane delivered to a mechanic for inspection, and arranging the plane to be delivered to Alabama. I think the plane looks great and I am very happy with the purchase.

- Randy S.

Aerolife is a great company to work with. They are very accommodating and provide great service that makes the buying experience both smooth and pleasurable.

- Mitch

I highly recommend Aerolife Aviation. They are easy to work with, honest, and very knowledgeable in planes and aviation. We love our Cirrus! Thanks

- Evan & Jessica

I really enjoyed dealing with Megan @ AeroLife Aviation during the purchase of this Cessna 182P. They delivered a plane that met every expectation as advertised. They held nothing back by providing all log's, AD's, & 337's for our review. Then upon inspection absolutely nothing was found not previously disclosed. I have purchased a really nice airplane thanks to Megan and her team.

This is the third aircraft I have purchased in my lifetime so I can say from experience this was my best buying experience by far. I have complete confidence in Aerolifes business model of how Aerolife will acquire an aircraft then thoroughly and professionally inspect the airplane then fix or replace what ever needs done if any to prepare that aircraft to sell. No smoke and mirrors, they are very upfront and forward in regards to any imperfections with your new plane. I recently purchased a beautiful Cessna 182Q and couldn’t be happier with my plane and how Megan and her team helped guide me though the transfer of my last plane and purchase of my new 182Q. I really enjoyed getting to meet Megan and all the super friendly folks up in Fergus Falls MN when I went up to fly my new plane for the first time. Overall excellent experience.

- Ray P.

Great buying experience with Megan. Plane was exactly as described and we could not be more pleased with our purchase.
