Rare opportunity to own an Oshkosh winner for outstanding Cessna 182 - this tells a lot about the plane. Upgrades and condition of the plane make it a better plane than most newer models. It is also one of the best kept planes I've seen. (Please watch the full video including flight of this plane) This 182 has most everything an owner would like to have. Midwest hangered plane with excellent paint and top of the line interior. Fully upgraded Garmin avionics and autopilot. ADS-B out, IFR, in annual, all logs since new and no accidents. Cessna 182 hasn't changed much since the 60s. So there’s no real difference between a fully upgraded plane like this 182 and a much newer model, including performance. This 182J can cruise at 141knots with a ceiling of almost 19,000ft. You can carry 4 adults and baggage. Fly over 1000 miles non stop in economy settings. Fly off very short runways or grass strips and land anywhere. New 182 performance is very similar to this. Very nice, upgraded avionics package. Garmin 430 WAAS for navigation and IFR flight, 2 Garmin CDI’s with glideslope, digital radios and newer digital transponder. Advanced S-Tec 2 axis autopilot can hold altitude, fly heading or GPS track and approaches. A good autopilot is very helpful for any flight, especially IFR or long flights. ADS-B out so you can fly in any airspace and use any airport without restrictions. I noticed the original engine temp gauge is not reading correctly but the digital engine monitor has all the engine temps and helps to manage the engine. Stormscope helps avoid bad weather. These upgrades cost around $45,000 and make this plane very capable, easy and safe to fly. Exterior is in great shape with newer beautiful paint that looks like a newer model. There are a number of speed modifications to the plane to make it even faster. Earlier 182s have bladder tanks that tend to leak. This plane has expensive fiberglass tanks installed. Paint and tank upgrade would cost over $24,000. Interior is fully upgraded and the attention to details is impressive. Leather seats, panels and carpets. It has interior features you can't find in newer models. This quality interior costs around $12,000. Engine is Continental 0-470 230hp. Starts right up and flies great. We had a climb of over 1200 ft/min in the video. With 40 electric flaps. 2 cylinders recently replaced. (Although some people focus on cylinders and compressions, they are fairly easy to replace when needed, new ones cost only $1400.) Engine heater and full cowl cover to avoid cold starts. JPI EDM-830 advanced digital engine monitor to see all cylinder temperatures, EGT’s, oil temps, volts and more. Not only can you manage the engine in flight, it can help extend the life of the engine, save fuel and help troubleshoot any anomalies as well. This is a very nice plane. Upgrades alone costs about $80,000. I had a few flights in the plane, it's very comfortable. It’s not often an award winning plane comes to the market; this is a rare opportunity. Please make sure to watch the video, it’s not only about this plane, it has all the info about Cessna 182s. Feel free to contact us with any questions. 6 things we do: 1.
