I was refueling the plane yesterday and the 2 other pilots on the ramp both wanted to see it and mentioned how nice it is. One said he loves Cardinals. (Please watch the full video including flight to 10,000ft) This plane has over $70,000 upgrades. Here's 11 reasons why this is a rare and desirable plane to own: 1. It’s a very low hour airplane. Only 2965 hours total 2. A low hour engine with only 995 hours on it. Very good compression. We borescoped the engine to check condition and it was clean. Only 60 hours on the prop 3. All logs since new 4. Clean history, no damages 5. Current extensive annual and IFR current. Even checked the spar 6. Great looking plane with nice, newer paint scheme. Top of the line Jet Glo 3 tone paint (usually costs $18,000). A few minor chips in the wheel pants 7. Beautiful clean interior with updated seats, carpets, plastics and panel. Clean interior and exterior tells a lot about how the previous owner cared for it. Fully upgraded interior costs about $10,000-$12,000 8. Fully updated panel like a newer plane. Garmin avionics and most advanced primary digital engine monitor. Garmin 480 WAAS GPS/NAV/COMM. Garmin 660 touchscreen for free weather, traffic and even synthetic vision as a backup. Latest audio panel with even phone and music options. Digital Garmin radio. I like the JPI EDM 930 Primary engine monitor best. It provides all engine info precisely. Lots of info not available in a factory Cardinal like fuel flow, fuel pressure and more. With this you can fly much safer, save a lot of fuel, manage the engine and get a lot more time from the engine. These upgrades alone cost about $42,000 9. ADS-B out installed. Fly in any airspace and airport in the US without restriction. We’ll include an ADS-B in receiver so you’ll have free weather and traffic also 10. Flies very nice. How a plane flies tells a lot about it. This plane flew 1700 miles over the peaks of the Rocky Mountains just a few weeks ago. Yesterday we took the plane to 10,000ft 11. It’s a later model Cardinal II package with all factory upgrades that made it an even better and faster plane. When brand new, the later models were almost twice as expensive compared to the earlier model It’s hard to find all these in a single plane unless you buy a very expensive, newer plane. Owners love Cardinals. Cessna 177B has the most cabin space, easy to get in and out, best visibility. Very easy to fly, you can control it with fingertips. Very predictable and stable. A great IFR trainer and flier. Very reliable, annuals are inexpensive, a safe plane with low insurance rates. The plane can climb up to 14,600. Extended range 61 gallon fuel tanks to go over 800 miles. At economy settings it only burns 7 to 8 gallons per hour. Take off and land on a short runway. Decent climb performance. Upgraded propeller in the plane allows you to fly faster. This is a very nice low time great looking newer model fully upgraded Cardinal. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions. Please make sure to watch the full video for all information and our test flight to10,000ft (You can also watch my Cessna Cardinal full review video on YouTube with over 45,000 views to learn all about the Cardinal) 5 things we do: 1.
