  Description

This is the lowest hour engine and airframe combination Cardinal on the market today. Only 2265 hours on the airframe and 404 hours on the engine. Fully upgraded with newer paint, leather interior, Garmin avionics and autopilot. IFR rated and current. No damage history. All logs since new. Previously owned by an airline pilot. Well maintained airplane. I had long cross country flights in this plane. Flies great. It is hard to find all these points in a Cardinal. Please take time to watch the full video of this plane to learn the details of the plane and see it in flight. Please also watch our full Cardinal review video with over 53,000 views on our YouTube Channel to learn everything about the Cardinals. Elegant, newer, 3 tone paint. The metallic gold and pearl white paint on this plane are expensive paint used only for luxury items. Usually it costs over $20,000 to paint a plane with these high end colors. Updated interior with leather seats. Pilot seat has 3 way adjustment so you can adjust it exactly to fit you. Seats were comfortable for our long trips. All panels are in very clean condition. New carpet compliments the interior color and condition. Baggage door cover has a minor piece missing as I show in the video. Clear windshield and all side windows, having been replaced recently. Rear glass is a little foggy. We have a new glass for it which goes with the plane. I like the avionic panel. Overall it is very clean and modern. All upgrades are useful. Digital audio panel has many features including phone calls. Garmin 530 WAAS and 430 WAAS - GPS NAV COMM units. They are connected to HSI and CDI so you have a backup for everything. Great IFR suite. Quite comfortable to fly in IFR conditions. Garmin units also display traffic. Garmin 560 touchscreen navigator is a nice backup unit with XM connected. The Garmin 330ES transponder has ADS-B out. So you can fly in any airspace and go to any airport without restrictions. Plane has a digital engine monitor. They are very helpful to see the details of the engine. You can save fuel, get long life from your engine and troubleshoot anomalies when you have an engine monitor. Plane has a digital RPM gauge. Century IIB autopilot is a good tool to have, especially in long flights or IMC conditions. It is not top of the line but a decent autopilot. All these are upgraded and none come from the factory. Cost is about $46,000 for those installations. 180HP Lycoming Engine has only 404 hours SMOH. Compressions are 70/70/71/72. We did necessary maintenance including a new prop governor. Engine starts right up and runs great. Had long night flights with no concerns. This Lycoming O-360 parallel valve engine has a great reputation for reliability, low maintenance and longevity. Cessna Cardinal is one the most spacious, easy to fly, 4 place airplanes compared with similar planes. Low maintenance costs and insurance is also very low because of its reliability. Cardinal has the best views with large, wide windows in the cabin. In summary this plane has very low hours, good ownership history, is a great flying plane with beautiful, newer paint and interior, Garmin avionics, autopilot, clean history and all logs. It is hard to find any plane with all these unless you buy a much newer plane. Please watch the full video of the plane to see all details and how it flies. Please feel free to ask any questions. 5 things we do: 1. Arrange a prebuy with a local mechanic or accommodate yours 2. Transport anywhere in USA for low cost 3. Aerolife is a great company to work with. They are very accommodating and provide great service that makes the buying experience both smooth and pleasurable.

Very easy to work with Aerolife and very accommodating, and knowledgeable. In a fast pace aggressive market for these planes they simplify buying process using DocuSign and knowing plenty of folks in industry to assist in the process if required.

- Travis Wisniewski

Megan was very thorough and professional. We thought the process went very smooth. Enjoyed working through the process. Many Thanks

- Bob & John

As first-time aircraft buyers, we felt in excellent hands with Megan at Aerolife. From the first moment of contact with her to the time we picked up our 1973 Cessna 177 Cardinal in Minnesota, Megan made the experience smooth, straight-forward and transparent. Megan went out of her way to explain specific technical questions we had, helped with recommendations on inspection items, arranged CFIs to get checked out and was available throughout the process to reassure and guide us through the logistics of the purchase process. We would definitely purchase from Aerolife Aviation in the future and wholeheartedly recommend the company, and especially Megan as an honest, fair and trustworthy airplane broker with top-notch customer service.

- Birgit, Henry and Kurt

Aerolife Aviation made the purchase of our 182 P an easy and stress free transaction. Megan was extremely helpful in answering all of the MANY questions we had before, during and after the purchase process. Aerolife was very professional and honest regarding the aircraft. Megan was easy to work with. She handled all the purchase details and even arranged delivery of our airplane. We highly recommend Aerolife.

- Lynn and Glen

- Brad Rentz

I will never be able to express my total gratitude and appreciation to Megan for her extremely professional, capable, friendly, honest, cleaver, resourceful, and experienced expertise! She not only helped me navigate the risky and sometimes stressful path to aircraft ownership, but spent numerous hours educating and helping me make the right decision in upgrades and other significant factors in the aircraft purchase. I am very impressed and totally trust Megan and Aerolife Aviation to satisfy all my future trade in and aircraft purchases. In fact, I will only deal with Aerolife Aviation and Megan from now on! A thousand thank you’s Megan! You made this happen!

- Patrick S.

This is the third aircraft I have purchased in my lifetime so I can say from experience this was my best buying experience by far. I have complete confidence in Aerolifes business model of how Aerolife will acquire an aircraft then thoroughly and professionally inspect the airplane then fix or replace what ever needs done if any to prepare that aircraft to sell. No smoke and mirrors, they are very upfront and forward in regards to any imperfections with your new plane. I recently purchased a beautiful Cessna 182Q and couldn’t be happier with my plane and how Megan and her team helped guide me though the transfer of my last plane and purchase of my new 182Q. I really enjoyed getting to meet Megan and all the super friendly folks up in Fergus Falls MN when I went up to fly my new plane for the first time. Overall excellent experience.

- Ray P.

I have been watching Megan do YouTube videos on aircraft for sale. She does such thorough reviews on the planes the previous owner could usually learn something about their old plane. You can imagine my pleasure when I saw a video about a 182 that I was actively interested in buying. When I got to see the plane in person it was exactly as described. Then AeroLife Aviation helped me with the training I needed and arranged for some routine maintenance I requested. Everything was above and beyond my high expectations. Thank you Megan and AeroLife Aviation
