  Description

New beautiful paint and interior, upgraded avionics, low hour engine, lowest ownership cost. Best value Cardinal in the market today. (We have around 1.5 million views on our channel because our videos are very thorough and informative. Please watch the full video of this plane.) This is one of the best looking Cardinals you can own. Brand new paint, rare 4 color design. All accent colors are metallic aviation paint. We custom designed the paint scheme so no other plane has this design. Better looking than a new, half a million dollar Cessna 172. You will see in the video it has an eye turning ramp appeal. It is important to me how a plane looks. Almost new, two tone, custom interior looks great and is very comfortable for us to fly very long trips. There are some minor cracks in the plastics, not very noticeable and can easily be replaced but like to mention it. This plane has low ownership cost. Lowest insurance rates, very low maintenance. Fuel is the biggest expense for plane ownership. 5-6 gallons per hour means you can save tens of thousands over time on fuel savings alone. Per person per mile cost is only 6 cents. Many planes are best suited for only one or a couple of things. This plane is a multipurpose airplane. Great learning platform for beginners and even advanced ratings. Very strong airplane, approved for advanced maneuvers and even spins. Both glass and round gauges in the plane so you can learn both. I got my commercial, instrument, CFI and CFII ratings in Cardinals. Better outside visibility than most planes makes it the best scenic airplane. Can carry 4 people with a range of 850 miles. It is a good family and cross country airplane. Easy to get in, large cabin and light pressure controls make it easy to fly for any pilot. Burning 5-6 gallons per hour is very economical so it is a great time builder as well. On our trip we landed in an airport close to Chicago after 120 miles. I asked the FBO to fill the tanks. They told me it was full and there was nothing to fill. Many avionics have been upgraded. Garmin G5 is a mini glass panel. The plane still has original gauges as well. This makes it redundant in an instrument or vacuum failure. Also helps to learn or be proficient at both glass and round gauges. JPI 830 Digital engine monitor is something I like to have in any plane. It provides more detailed information than factory gauges. You can monitor all cylinders. You can save a lot of fuel by precisely leaning using fuel flow. Fuel remaining is very useful for long trips. This is also another redundancy. You have both factory gauges and engine monitor independently. ADS-B in. Digital comm. Panel mounted iPad has data capability. The flight plan you make at home will be available in the plane. When you connect to a portable unit such as GDL 52 like we use, you can get in-flight traffic, weather and all other information including satellite weather. The last leg of our flight from Chicago to Minnesota had a storm and rain covering 100 miles of our track. We were able to fly through it with the weather information in this unit. Engine is Lycoming O-320 E2D. Engine has only 714 hours. The date or age of overhaul is a very important point for any engine. This was overhauled in 2019 and flown around 140 hours per year since then. We have clean oil analysis reports and compressions are 76/80. This is the same engine as Cessna 172M models. 172M is very popular due to this engine. They are very reliable with low fuel burn. Even flight schools run these engines over 3000 hours. This engine has 160 hp upgrade, and power flow exhaust adds 10-15hp performance. So it has similar power as 180HP Cardinals. Yet a fixed pitch propeller makes it easier to fly. Also 3-4 gallons less fuel burn than 177B models. Hangared airplane, frequently flown, we did the spar inspection and also primed and updated to the new vent ducts for future prevention. This is a very sharp looking, economical, comfortable, multipurpose plane with upgraded interior and upgraded avionics as well as a low hour engine. No accidents, clean history, all logs since new. It is rare to have all these in a plane, especially at this price point. Value. Overhauled engine is around $45,000, so this low time engine is probably worth $30,000. Paint and interior costs $35,000. Avionics upgrade about $19,000. These alone come to approximately $84,000. So it is a great value for the low asking price. When you buy from us we can do free transition training. Transport to your location. Help you find a good insurance company. Please let us know if you have any questions or would like to arrange to see the plane. Glad to help in any way we can. Appreciate your interest.

AeroLife Aviation were very forthright and most accommodating to me in the purchase process. The entire process was smooth and efficient.

- Michael S.

Aerolife Aviation was great to deal with. Megan handled the buying process well from providing the paperwork, to getting the plane delivered to a mechanic for inspection, and arranging the plane to be delivered to Alabama. I think the plane looks great and I am very happy with the purchase.

- Randy S.

Great buying experience with Megan. Plane was exactly as described and we could not be more pleased with our purchase.

- Brad Rentz

Very easy to work with Aerolife and very accommodating, and knowledgeable. In a fast pace aggressive market for these planes they simplify buying process using DocuSign and knowing plenty of folks in industry to assist in the process if required.

- Travis Wisniewski

As first-time aircraft buyers, we felt in excellent hands with Megan at Aerolife. From the first moment of contact with her to the time we picked up our 1973 Cessna 177 Cardinal in Minnesota, Megan made the experience smooth, straight-forward and transparent. Megan went out of her way to explain specific technical questions we had, helped with recommendations on inspection items, arranged CFIs to get checked out and was available throughout the process to reassure and guide us through the logistics of the purchase process. We would definitely purchase from Aerolife Aviation in the future and wholeheartedly recommend the company, and especially Megan as an honest, fair and trustworthy airplane broker with top-notch customer service.

Aerolife Aviation made the purchase of our 182 P an easy and stress free transaction. Megan was extremely helpful in answering all of the MANY questions we had before, during and after the purchase process. Aerolife was very professional and honest regarding the aircraft. Megan was easy to work with. She handled all the purchase details and even arranged delivery of our airplane. We highly recommend Aerolife.

I really enjoyed dealing with Megan @ AeroLife Aviation during the purchase of this Cessna 182P. They delivered a plane that met every expectation as advertised. They held nothing back by providing all log's, AD's, & 337's for our review. Then upon inspection absolutely nothing was found not previously disclosed. I have purchased a really nice airplane thanks to Megan and her team.

This is the third aircraft I have purchased in my lifetime so I can say from experience this was my best buying experience by far. I have complete confidence in Aerolifes business model of how Aerolife will acquire an aircraft then thoroughly and professionally inspect the airplane then fix or replace what ever needs done if any to prepare that aircraft to sell. No smoke and mirrors, they are very upfront and forward in regards to any imperfections with your new plane. I recently purchased a beautiful Cessna 182Q and couldn’t be happier with my plane and how Megan and her team helped guide me though the transfer of my last plane and purchase of my new 182Q. I really enjoyed getting to meet Megan and all the super friendly folks up in Fergus Falls MN when I went up to fly my new plane for the first time. Overall excellent experience.

- Ray P.

I have been watching Megan do YouTube videos on aircraft for sale. She does such thorough reviews on the planes the previous owner could usually learn something about their old plane. You can imagine my pleasure when I saw a video about a 182 that I was actively interested in buying. When I got to see the plane in person it was exactly as described. Then AeroLife Aviation helped me with the training I needed and arranged for some routine maintenance I requested. Everything was above and beyond my high expectations. Thank you Megan and AeroLife Aviation

Megan was very thorough and professional. We thought the process went very smooth. Enjoyed working through the process. Many Thanks
