  Description

This plane even has smart glide. One push of a button, the autopilot automatically activates and directly flies to the nearest airport using best glide speed and giving audio announcements. All automatic. In an emergency situation, this feature is a life saver. This feature is only available in high end, newest planes like Cirrus SR22s Originally a Midwest airplane and then dry Arizona. Very clean, no corrosion. Best quality Cardinal in the market today. I flew this plane across the US, over the Rocky Mountains, through hard IMC weather from Arizona to Florida, stopping in Minnesota between. Very comfortable airplane to fly. Fully upgraded, top of the line Garmin avionics, most done just last year. Latest Garmin GTN 650 makes most tasks faster and easier. Dual Garmin G5s make it a mini glass flight deck. Latest Garmin GFC 500 autopilot has all the advanced features. This autopilot has flight envelope protection. It will automatically prevent the airplane from stalling or overbanking. This is a life saving feature. Digital secondary radio and Garmin audio panel. All these upgrades make this Cardinal a technically advanced airplane (TAA) with capability very comparable to newer planes. Plane has a JPI 900 digital engine monitor. It is primary and expensive to install. This is very useful. Save fuel, improve engine life; much more accurate and provides so much more data than factory gauges. New luxury upholstery. Quality of the interior is hard to find even in a newer airplane. The attention to detail is amazing. Not only seats and carpets, every part of the interior is updated. It is rare to see this quality interior in a plane like this. Elegant paint scheme. A number of people asked me if it is a new plane due to its appearance. The plane has 6 different colors. Usually a plane has only 3 colors due to the complexity of painting multiple colors. Powerplant is a Lycomimg O-360 180HP with constant speed propeller. Only 2 years since Western Skyways gold seal overhaul. Only 183 hours. You can fly for decades. O-360 is one of the most reliable and low maintenance engines. Engine overhaul costs have skyrocketed recently. To overhaul both engine and prop can cost $28,000-$35,000. Plane also has LED lights. Low current draw and very bright. All maintenance done, IFR certified and current, all AD's including spar eddy current inspection completed. Also the spar has anticorrosive primer on it and all the hoses have been upgraded to the newer style to avoid any corrosion build up in the future. Engine runs great, great compressions, clean oil analysis. All logs since new, no reported accidents. Cardinal is one of the best fixed gear, single engine airplanes you can own. It has the largest cabin space, similar to Cessna 210. Easy to fly and predictable. It is a great IFR platform as well. Can carry 4 people. Easiest plane to get in and out. Can take off and land from very short runways. It can fly around 800 miles. 14,600 ceiling, we flew over the Rocky Mountains. Cruise speed is around 120-130 knots. Very economical fuel burn of only 7-10 gallons per hour. Low maintenance airplane. These planes have the lowest insurance cost. Cardinal is not only a great family airplane, it is a very good training platform as well. I got all my ratings from private to CFII in different Cardinals. Best value Cessna Cardinal. Approximate costs for the upgrades Avionics $53,000 Luxury interior $19,000 LEDs and other upgrades $4,500 Engine and prop overhaul value (with current hours) $24,000 Paint theme $9,000 Total is $109,500 Sale includes 6 hours of full ground and flight training. I will also train you on important engine management. We can train you for commercial or IFR ratings. We can transport anywhere in USA. We can arrange inspection or test flight. I can help to find a good insurance company or finance company. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. We only sell a limited number of airplanes to keep the quality high. I have a well respected aviation YouTube channel with over 1.3 million views. (search aerolife aviation on YouTube) I have a very detailed Cardinal full review video with over 65,000 views. That video will give you a very good idea about the Cessna 177B cardinal. We are the only company to offer all this. For most new owners logistics are very difficult to arrange. Happy to help any way I can. Feel free to contact us any day, even weekends. (Even if you have good knowledge you'll find something new in our video. Please watch) You can come and view this plane at our Daytona Beach Int'l Airport (KDAB) location. Please call us to arrange a viewing.

The video play icon   I want to trade my aircraft with this 1973 CESSNA 177B

Megan was very thorough and professional. We thought the process went very smooth. Enjoyed working through the process. Many Thanks

- Bob & John

Aerolife Aviation made the purchase of our 182 P an easy and stress free transaction. Megan was extremely helpful in answering all of the MANY questions we had before, during and after the purchase process. Aerolife was very professional and honest regarding the aircraft. Megan was easy to work with. She handled all the purchase details and even arranged delivery of our airplane. We highly recommend Aerolife.

- Lynn and Glen

I have been watching Megan do YouTube videos on aircraft for sale. She does such thorough reviews on the planes the previous owner could usually learn something about their old plane. You can imagine my pleasure when I saw a video about a 182 that I was actively interested in buying. When I got to see the plane in person it was exactly as described. Then AeroLife Aviation helped me with the training I needed and arranged for some routine maintenance I requested. Everything was above and beyond my high expectations. Thank you Megan and AeroLife Aviation

- Raymond B.

AeroLife Aviation were very forthright and most accommodating to me in the purchase process. The entire process was smooth and efficient.

- Michael S.

As first-time aircraft buyers, we felt in excellent hands with Megan at Aerolife. From the first moment of contact with her to the time we picked up our 1973 Cessna 177 Cardinal in Minnesota, Megan made the experience smooth, straight-forward and transparent. Megan went out of her way to explain specific technical questions we had, helped with recommendations on inspection items, arranged CFIs to get checked out and was available throughout the process to reassure and guide us through the logistics of the purchase process. We would definitely purchase from Aerolife Aviation in the future and wholeheartedly recommend the company, and especially Megan as an honest, fair and trustworthy airplane broker with top-notch customer service.

- Birgit, Henry and Kurt

Aerolife is a great company to work with. They are very accommodating and provide great service that makes the buying experience both smooth and pleasurable.

- Mitch

Great buying experience with Megan. Plane was exactly as described and we could not be more pleased with our purchase.

- Brad Rentz

I really enjoyed dealing with Megan @ AeroLife Aviation during the purchase of this Cessna 182P. They delivered a plane that met every expectation as advertised. They held nothing back by providing all log's, AD's, & 337's for our review. Then upon inspection absolutely nothing was found not previously disclosed. I have purchased a really nice airplane thanks to Megan and her team.

- Tom A.

Aerolife Aviation was great to deal with. Megan handled the buying process well from providing the paperwork, to getting the plane delivered to a mechanic for inspection, and arranging the plane to be delivered to Alabama. I think the plane looks great and I am very happy with the purchase.

- Randy S.

Very easy to work with Aerolife and very accommodating, and knowledgeable. In a fast pace aggressive market for these planes they simplify buying process using DocuSign and knowing plenty of folks in industry to assist in the process if required.
