  Description

This Cessna 177B has been a Midwest aircraft since new. Always hangared, no corrosion, no damage history. All logs since new. Well-maintained. Starts right up and flies great. Cardinal II package with factory extra features. Current instrument rated. Extensive annual completed 8/2019. ADS-B out 2020 compliant. Loved by everybody in the family. By far the best airplane of all the different ones I’ve flown. This is a 177B model with all improvements everyone is looking for. I am really going to miss it; I am only selling because I had to upgrade to a 6 seater. Powered by Lycoming 0360 engine, considered one of the most reliable and bulletproof engines. I have taken it on over 2000 mile cross-country trips and never had a single problem. Over 150 hours put on it last year alone. Long-range, 60 gal fuel tanks. I’ve had 5 1/2 hour, thousand mile, non-stop flights. Select either or both fuel tanks. Great compression, clean oil analysis reports (which are very important when you're buying an aircraft as they allow you to see the health of the engine). It burns only about 1 qt per 10 hours. Great comfort with the larger cabin, easy to get in and out of for anyone, carry 4 adults. Excellent visibility. Garmin audio panel, dual radios and Garmin moving map gps. Very clear glasses, light colored instrument panel with easy six pack gauge layout. Both elevator and rudder trim wheels. LED landing light. Some plastics show their age but overall nice interior. I believe it's original paint but good shape; cowling was repainted recently and there were a few paint chips touched up. Advanced digital engine monitoring system (JPI EDM-830) coupled with the GPS. Includes all 4 cylinder temperatures and EGT's, RPM and manifold pressure, horse power, oil pressure and temperature, voltage, carb temp, fuel flow as well as the remaining fuel and fuel required for the trip. With all this information you have a great comfort while flying, You can save fuel by running the engine precisely and have a much longer engine life. Tannis engine heater prevents from cold start engine damage. Cessna 177 is a better aircraft than 172 in every way; more power, constant speed propeller, excellent visibility, large cabin space, higher speed, more payload than 172 yet much less than the price of a 172. Fixed gear, a little slower than RG but low maintenance cost and much less insurance cost. If you're looking for well-maintained, reliable, economical aircraft you can really enjoy flying, this is a great option.

I will never be able to express my total gratitude and appreciation to Megan for her extremely professional, capable, friendly, honest, cleaver, resourceful, and experienced expertise! She not only helped me navigate the risky and sometimes stressful path to aircraft ownership, but spent numerous hours educating and helping me make the right decision in upgrades and other significant factors in the aircraft purchase. I am very impressed and totally trust Megan and Aerolife Aviation to satisfy all my future trade in and aircraft purchases. In fact, I will only deal with Aerolife Aviation and Megan from now on! A thousand thank you’s Megan! You made this happen!

- Patrick S.

I have been watching Megan do YouTube videos on aircraft for sale. She does such thorough reviews on the planes the previous owner could usually learn something about their old plane. You can imagine my pleasure when I saw a video about a 182 that I was actively interested in buying. When I got to see the plane in person it was exactly as described. Then AeroLife Aviation helped me with the training I needed and arranged for some routine maintenance I requested. Everything was above and beyond my high expectations. Thank you Megan and AeroLife Aviation

I highly recommend Aerolife Aviation. They are easy to work with, honest, and very knowledgeable in planes and aviation. We love our Cirrus! Thanks

As first-time aircraft buyers, we felt in excellent hands with Megan at Aerolife. From the first moment of contact with her to the time we picked up our 1973 Cessna 177 Cardinal in Minnesota, Megan made the experience smooth, straight-forward and transparent. Megan went out of her way to explain specific technical questions we had, helped with recommendations on inspection items, arranged CFIs to get checked out and was available throughout the process to reassure and guide us through the logistics of the purchase process. We would definitely purchase from Aerolife Aviation in the future and wholeheartedly recommend the company, and especially Megan as an honest, fair and trustworthy airplane broker with top-notch customer service.

Aerolife Aviation made the purchase of our 182 P an easy and stress free transaction. Megan was extremely helpful in answering all of the MANY questions we had before, during and after the purchase process. Aerolife was very professional and honest regarding the aircraft. Megan was easy to work with. She handled all the purchase details and even arranged delivery of our airplane. We highly recommend Aerolife.

Very easy to work with Aerolife and very accommodating, and knowledgeable. In a fast pace aggressive market for these planes they simplify buying process using DocuSign and knowing plenty of folks in industry to assist in the process if required.

- Travis Wisniewski

Aerolife Aviation was great to deal with. Megan handled the buying process well from providing the paperwork, to getting the plane delivered to a mechanic for inspection, and arranging the plane to be delivered to Alabama. I think the plane looks great and I am very happy with the purchase.
