  Description

I flew this airplane for about 3 hours and it was a joy to fly. After reaching cruising altitude I engaged the autopilot, set the GPS color moving map to my destination and preset all the frequencies on the digital radios. It flew beautifully by itself, I could have read a book on the way. This 172 is completely upgraded with newer paint, a newer interior, panel upgrades of digital avionics including a Garmin GPS with XM weather, an autopilot, ADSB out and much more. An IFR plane that looks and flies great. All logs since new, no damage history, fresh detailed annual. This is a rare chance to own a true turn-key Cessna 172 airplane that’s equipped and flies like a much newer model for a fraction of the cost of a newer one. The engine is a Lycoming 0320-E2D, the same as the 172M model. This engine is considered one of the best Lycoming 4 cylinder engines; they often go 3000-3500 hours without an overhaul. They are very reliable and fuel-efficient, burning only 5.5 - 8 gallons per hour. Clean oil analysis reports and great compressions in the mid 70’s. The exterior is completely repainted with a modern color scheme that makes it look like a 2012 or newer; this plane gets attention anywhere you go. All glass is very clean. Interior also completely redone including all seats, headliner and plastics. Autopilots are rare in these models but this one has an all-electric Century I autopilot which not only keeps the wings level but can also track the Nav/CDI, great for long trips and added safety for IMC conditions. ADS-B out and 2020 mandate complied with so you can save thousands of dollars over buying one without ADSB. All gauges are very clear, excellent digital upgraded radios. I really like the PMA 8000B audio panel with ATC playback function, intercom, connect your phone or music, 4 place intercom. Both pilots can have separate frequencies active simultaneously. Cessna 172L and M models have the highest demand. This 172 can carry 4 people with a useful load of 872 lbs. Fly over 13,000ft with a range of 675 miles. It can take off and land in any field or grass strip with its low take-off distance of 865 feet and landing only needs 520 feet. Some average values of the major upgrades: Paint $16000 Interior $8000 Autopilot $12000 Avionics $7000 ADSB out & GPS $ 4500 That is $47,500 extra value One of the best fully upgraded 172L you can own; safe, economical, fun to fly and looks great as well. The video play icon   I want to trade my aircraft with this 1972 CESSNA 172L

Aerolife Aviation made the purchase of our 182 P an easy and stress free transaction. Megan was extremely helpful in answering all of the MANY questions we had before, during and after the purchase process. Aerolife was very professional and honest regarding the aircraft. Megan was easy to work with. She handled all the purchase details and even arranged delivery of our airplane. We highly recommend Aerolife.

Aerolife Aviation was great to deal with. Megan handled the buying process well from providing the paperwork, to getting the plane delivered to a mechanic for inspection, and arranging the plane to be delivered to Alabama. I think the plane looks great and I am very happy with the purchase.

- Randy S.

AeroLife Aviation were very forthright and most accommodating to me in the purchase process. The entire process was smooth and efficient.

- Michael S.

Very easy to work with Aerolife and very accommodating, and knowledgeable. In a fast pace aggressive market for these planes they simplify buying process using DocuSign and knowing plenty of folks in industry to assist in the process if required.

- Travis Wisniewski

Great buying experience with Megan. Plane was exactly as described and we could not be more pleased with our purchase.

- Brad Rentz

I really enjoyed dealing with Megan @ AeroLife Aviation during the purchase of this Cessna 182P. They delivered a plane that met every expectation as advertised. They held nothing back by providing all log's, AD's, & 337's for our review. Then upon inspection absolutely nothing was found not previously disclosed. I have purchased a really nice airplane thanks to Megan and her team.

- Tom A.

I have been watching Megan do YouTube videos on aircraft for sale. She does such thorough reviews on the planes the previous owner could usually learn something about their old plane. You can imagine my pleasure when I saw a video about a 182 that I was actively interested in buying. When I got to see the plane in person it was exactly as described. Then AeroLife Aviation helped me with the training I needed and arranged for some routine maintenance I requested. Everything was above and beyond my high expectations. Thank you Megan and AeroLife Aviation

- Raymond B.

As first-time aircraft buyers, we felt in excellent hands with Megan at Aerolife. From the first moment of contact with her to the time we picked up our 1973 Cessna 177 Cardinal in Minnesota, Megan made the experience smooth, straight-forward and transparent. Megan went out of her way to explain specific technical questions we had, helped with recommendations on inspection items, arranged CFIs to get checked out and was available throughout the process to reassure and guide us through the logistics of the purchase process. We would definitely purchase from Aerolife Aviation in the future and wholeheartedly recommend the company, and especially Megan as an honest, fair and trustworthy airplane broker with top-notch customer service.

- Birgit, Henry and Kurt

Aerolife is a great company to work with. They are very accommodating and provide great service that makes the buying experience both smooth and pleasurable.
