This 1976 Cessna 172M Skyhawk can do 9 things that a standard 172M can’t. This is a rare chance for you to own a special plane. (please watch the details in the video above) Over $37,000 added value upgrades in the plane make all these possible. This plane has all the great features of a 172M and much more. We fly this plane a lot. It is fun, exciting, reliable, safe and economical. Let's look at the 9 things it can do that a standard 172M can't. 1 This 172M has more power 2 It can climb faster 3 It can fly faster 4 It can fly and land in the dark without any gauges, vacuum or electricity 5 It burns less fuel 6 It can take off and land in very short fields, and out in the backcountry where a standard 172M can’t 7 It can fly higher - 15,000-17,000ft 8 It can glide much longer with no power 9 It can fly slower than a standard 172M - we’ll show you, it’s like its hanging in the air (the video of this plane shows all in detail, including flight) Beautiful pearl white 3 tone paint looks like the latest 172 (Don't we all like to own a great looking airplane?). Very clean panel with digital radios so you can have all frequencies in memory. ADS-B out so you can fly in any airspace. Panel mounted iPad, connected to ADS-B in weather, traffic and inflight data. Stratus receiver has WAAS GPS, so you have synthetic vision as well. This is an expensive way to set up an iPad but the best way to do it. (You will see in the video how useful it is in flight) All logs, no damage history, recent annual completed. Great compressions (72-77) starts without even priming. Flies great. Bright LED lights. Previously owned by a very experienced commercial pilot. 172M model is the most desirable. 1976 is the last 172M you can buy. It has a Lycoming O-320-E2D engine. Most reliable and long lasting engine that usually goes 3000-3800 hours before overhaul. This 172 is even approved to run on auto gas (although it has been using avgas). If you want you can use auto gas and save about $1500 for every 100 hours you fly. Look at the upgrades and average costs. Paint - $13,000 Interior - $5,000 STOL kit - $4,500 Power Flow Exhaust - $5,500 Electronic ignition - $2,000 Panel upgrades - $5,000 ADS-B out - $2,200 Total - $37,200 If you were to do all these upgrades it would cost you around $37,000 and months of time. There are other 172Ms you can buy, but it is unlikely you will find one like this, especially for the price of a standard 172M. So if you are looking for a 172 please check this one out. Feel free to ask any questions. I appreciate your interest in our 172. We can… 1. Transport anywhere in USA 2. Arrange prebuy with local shop or bring your mechanic 3. Arrange free airport pickup and dropoff 4. Give free 5 hour type training with a CFI if you need 5. Help you to find financing & insurance 6. Arrange to look at the aircraft on weekends also - if you schedule ahead
